My second connection is I read a newspaper article on the ocean and how wonderful it is and learned about many types of fish. My third connection is that my mom was telling me that the ocean is getting pretty gross with all the garbidge that’s being pumped into it. The Fish Who Could Wish

“The Fish Who Could Wish” is a short book written by John Bush and illustrated by Korky Paul. The theme of this book is probably wishing for thing you want/don’t have. This book is about a fish who could wish for any thing he wanted. He fished for it to snow under the sea. But his last wish was that he could be like all the other fish in the sea. The message is be careful what you wish for. I think this book could be a little bit longer or a longer ending but beside that I think the book was great.

“Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress” is a interesting book written by Christine Baldacchino and illustrated by Isabelle Malenfant. “Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress” is about a little boy named Morris who like wearing a tangerine and clicky shoes. All the boys and girls in Morris’s class think he’s weird and telling him that he can’t wear the tangerine dress, that boys don’t wear dresses and astronauts don’t wear dresses. In the end he make a “spaceship” and goes on cool missions with his friends. The message is don’t judge others or the way they dress or act.
